Long Description
This is the reverse primer that pairs with the forward primer BBa_K4047000 to amplify the gene for transaldolase (BBa_K4047034). The overlap sequence allows proper Gibson assembly with the pGEM-tal (BBa_K4047036) backbone. The annealing portion (all caps) allows annealing to the wildtype Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942 genome for proper amplification.
Please note that this primer contains the EcoR1 and BamHI restriction enzyme sites, limiting their part compatability, but was registered here for future use that may be limited to these commonly available enzymes.
